RECRUITMENT INTO GHANA ARMED FORCES 2016

General Eligibility.

1. Eligible applicant must:

a. Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.

b. Be of good character.

c. Be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years by 31 December 2014.

d. Be medically fit by Armed Forces standards.

e. Be not married.

f. Be not bonded.

g. Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5’6”) for males and 1.57m (5’2”) for females. For Military Police only; be of a minimum height of 1.75m (5’9”) for males and 1.70m (5’7”) for females.

h. Must have six (6) Credits (Not less than grade 6) at BECE including English and Mathematics.

Special Requirements

2. Army Candidates.

a. Infantry /Armour/Artillery/Military Police. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 Credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.

b. Pay Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following.

(1) Six Credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics in. Accounting or Business options

(2) RSA Stage III in Accounting.

(3) Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting Option).
